Be sure to note the drive and directory to which you are saving the downloaded file. The file called jewelry.exe is a self-extracting archive. It's size is 2,505 KB. It will take approximately 15 minutes to download if you have a 36.6 modem. 28.8's and 14.4's will take progressivly longer. After downloading the file, it must be decompressed and installed. To decompress it, first move it into an empty temporary directory which you create on your hardrive in your File Manager(Win3.xx) or your Explorer (Win95). (This directory and it's entire contents may be deleted after the installation program is finished.) Then dearchive the jewelry.exe file by simply double-clicking on it. This will create a series of files in your temporary directory. One of the files in this directory will be named setup.exe. Double clicking on the file called setup.exe will start the installation program...which is fairly self explanatory. You will have the opportunity to select a few options and then a click on OK will allow the program to complete the installation. It will create windows icons which allow the slideshow to be started just like any other Windows program. If you would like to save these instructions right now, click on File in your browser and then click on Save As. Save this file as instruct.txt to your hard drive. It can then be opened in any text editor and you will be able to refer to it while offline.
